About AA Home Inspections
Home Inspectors with Integrity
Our team at AA Home Inspections is a partnership between Tony Alderman and Allen Brimer. Our diverse backgrounds unite to create a special foundation of knowledge, commitment and customer care from which we run our business.
Home Inspector, Artist, Frame Shop Owner, Light Construction and Renovations
My name is Tony Alderman and I opened the doors to AA Home Inspections in 2006. When not inspecting homes, I’m an avid woodworker and love to build things in my shop. My home is in a constant state of renovation since I love to start new projects. I have also been a professional artist for over 30 years and that passion affects all that I see and how I approach my career. You can visit Tony Alderman Arts to see more of my artistic side.
After spending 16 years in the construction field, I chose to become a professional home inspector to help people navigate through the homebuying process. I am a graduate of ITA (Inspection Training Associates) and an active member of the American Society of Home Inspectors (ASHI). I also belong to the NC chapter of ASHI and the North Carolina Licensed Home Inspector Association (NCLHIA). I would love to put my experience and skills to work for you on your next home inspection.
Pastor, Organic Farmer, College Professor, now Home Inspector
My name is Allen Brimer, inspector and partner in AA Home Inspections. In my free time, I like to bake, smoke bar-b-que, garden and stay active with my family. My boys and I enjoy live music, baseball games, and riding bikes. My wife and I work on our own farm while raising our boys and engaging in our community through farmchurch.org. I became a home inspector because I was looking for a career change that would still allow me to serve others.
Coming from a career in pastoral ministry, I wanted to stay focused on caring for people while also learning a new field that was both practical and useful. As a home inspector, I find joy in working with people who are in a time of major transition, a time which is often challenging. It feels good to help others find the little things in their new home that they may not have noticed. I help homebuyers understand their home and feel empowered about their decision. I also love inspecting homes because it’s a treasure hunt where I get to make interesting discoveries and learn new things. It is the perfect intersection of caring and learning.
